What the ERP does, who it is for, and how it fits a working press.
What is the Presstropic ERP?
The Presstropic ERP is printing press and job-work management software for the office. It runs paper inward, plate tracking, job cards, production, store and dispatch challans from one system, so a press can replace its paper registers, spreadsheets and WhatsApp updates with a single source of truth.
Does it handle job cards and job work?
Yes. Every job gets a job card with its processes, sizes, quantities, machines and operators. You can track production and wastage per process, see live floor status, and know exactly where each job stands — from scheduling to finishing.
Can it generate dispatch challans?
Yes. The ERP creates delivery challans with party, job and rate details, tracks ready-to-ship and dispatched status, and lets you revise rates on existing challans party-wise — for one challan or in bulk. Party-, process- and month-wise dispatch reports are built in.
Does it replace registers and spreadsheets?
That is the point. Masters, paper stock, plates, jobs, production and dispatch live in one place with activity logs, role-based access and backups, so nothing is lost and everyone sees the same numbers.
Can we adopt one module at a time?
Yes. Each module — PaperBuddy, RackBuddy, JobBuddy, StoreBuddy and DispatchBuddy — works on its own and links to the others as you add them.
How does it work with the ShopFloor app?
Jobs scheduled in the ERP appear on the ShopFloor tablets of the machines they are scheduled on. What operators start, complete and produce on the floor flows straight back into the job in the ERP.
